This knife is the “BEAST” Tanto and would make a great hunting knife! This is the second knife of my “BEAST” collection where I wanted to go BIG!
The sheath is made from Water Buffalo leather so it is very durable. This was HAND-SEWN down and back both sides with one continuous wax thread.
This knife is made out of 80CrV2 steel is a high carbon, chromium, vanadium steel that is commonly used for making knives, saw blades, and other cutting tools. It is also known as “Swedish Saw Steel”. 80CrV2 steel is tough and has excellent edge retention which you want in any knife!
